Margaret Ryman has been a pharmacist for 21 years and has worked in a broad range of practice settings with a majority of experience in hospital pharmacy. She is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and has held a variety of positions in academia and within clinical practice.
Ryman has been with McKesson for 16 years where she has a held a number of positions. She previously served as a regional clinical Coordinator for McKesson Medication Management. Ryman was an inaugural member of the Pharmacy Optimization (Macro Helix) team and also served as a health systems district sales manager.
She is an active member of the Critical Care Drug Task Force, a multi-disciplinary task force across McKesson that provides supply chain response to national and local COVID-19 data, protects the supply chain on critical COVID-19 drugs, provides internal and external expertise and identifies and monitors drugs that are being studied for the treatment of the virus.
Ryman holds a bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University as well as bachelor’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, Missouri. She currently resides in Atlanta.
